These Designs are both my sweet designs and title for my product. The reason for choosing 'ALBET' for a title is because the original thought came from the word Alphabet.  I wanted each sweet to have a different letter and font and relate it to graphics.

  1. Good work Dan. Alphabet is spelt like how I just spelt it! 'Albet' is a slightly odd name for a sweet. Why not just call them alphabets if they're going to be letter form sweets? It's great that your so competent with the software but remember that the design idea / concept is always the most important thing. The artwork should be lead by the idea - which it is here to a certain extent. I'm just saying sometimes it's good to really push your ideas and see where they take you. And also engage in research - look at sweet and how they actually look / texture / packaging etc. This can inform your artwork / design.

  3. How about a mathematical sweet called 'Fractions' and when you eat one you immediately begin to cry as they're so hard to do (chew).

Alphabets - do some research and see what comes up. Greek alphabet? Russian alphabet? Do you know in India they have around 40 different versions of the basic language...

I'm burbling but get the idea right...and the artwork should make itself.

Idea over aesthetics. Strength in concept.

Look into Bob Gill - he's a master graphic designer that always puts the idea first...

    Good.
